The Blackfin DSP module is very compact (50 x 90mm) and operates from a single 3.3V power supply. The module is equipped with an FPGA to provide digital interfacing and co-processing to the main processor.
A carrier card is available for the module that enables it to be used as a stand-alone computer, and give the user easy access to the interfaces by bringing out communications connectors and headers for the FPGA pins.
All interfaces are accessible through the high-density connector, which allows the user to place the external connectors and buffering as required on the carrier card. |
